  • You need to have at least 2 to 3 weeks worth of hair growth before booking an appointment

  • Cleanse the area to be sugared thoroughly before your appointment and do not exfoliate the day before or the day of the sugaring service

  • Avoid putting any perfumes, creams, lotions or deodorant on your skin to be sugared the day of the service

  • For your comfort, it is recommended that you do not suntan for 48 hours prior to or after any treatment

  • Bring clean loosefitting clothing to wear home after your appointment

  • Sugaring can remove short hair however if you have a very light, soft hair you may not achieve your desired result

After your hair removal service

  • After your treatment your skin may be a bit more sensitive so it is recommended that you avoid fragranced soap, deodorant and lotion for 4 to 6 hours after treatment

  • In general, avoid using oil based lotions and products as they tend to clog the pores and contribute to ingrown hairs

  • Initial chest and back treatments may require extra attention, soak in Epson salt or Dead Sea salts 2 to 3 times a week no longer than 15 minutes following treatment to these areas

  • A body brush or exfoliating glove are recommended 2 to 3 times a week, in the bath or shower, this will lead to soft, smooth and polished skin and will minimize any chance of ingrown hairs

  • Your skin may experience temporary redness this reaction is normal and most commonly disappears within an hour after treatment

  • Avoid direct heat such as hot tubs or suntanning immediately after treatment

  • Excessive perspiration may irritate the skin directly after treatment so don't work out immediately afterwards
